Regina mom, daughter to appear in court on murder charge

Two Regina women are in custody and facing second-degree murder charges after the body of a man was found in a burned out Regina home.

Two Regina women are in custody and facing second-degree murder charges after the body of a man was found in a burned-out Regina home.

On March 23, the bodyof Ray Allen Yacevich, 53,wasfound following a fire in a home on Wascana Street in the city's North Central area.

Following an autopsy, police determined it was a homicide and they were looking for a mother and daughter who also lived there.

Rosalyn Wilm, 41,andSarah Wilm, 22,were found near Kamsack, Sask., Tuesday.

Police said their investigation led to second-degree murder charges. The pair were set to make their first appearances in court, in Regina, Tuesday afternoon.

According to a notice from a funeral home, a service for Yacevich, who was also known by the surname Quewezance, was set for Tuesday on the Keeseekoose First Nation, which is near Kamsack.
