Russell Bowers is the host and producer of Daybreak Alberta.

Russell has been a broadcast professional for more than25 years and hashosted radio shows nationally and regionally.

His work as a writer/broadcaster, comedy performer, producer and news reporter has appeared on CBC shows such asThe Current, Irrelevant Show,SundayEdition and The 180.

In addition to his radio work, Russellhas been a print columnist, a video-grapher, speechwriter, publicist, and university instructor adding award-winning credits as an actor and record producer, rounding out a very eclectic career.
