Free outdoor movies return to Stanley Park

Ever watched Purple Rain under the stars orenjoyedThe Outsiders in the great outdoors?

Now is your chance becauseFreshAirCinemais bringing back the popularEvo Summer Cinema at Stanley Park.

Afour-storey inflatable movie screenwill be upevery Tuesday from July 5 to August 23 in Ceperley Meadownear Second Beach.

Bring your own blankets orlawn chairs for the completely free event and make sure you arrive early to find space and to enjoypre-show games, prizes, and giveaway. There isno smoking or drinking alcohol allowed at the family-friendly event.

With thousands of people hoping to score a free seat you might want to consider transit, walking, orbiking to the event. There will be a bike valet service offered on site.

Movies start at dusk, so you'll want to check what time the sun is setting before you go.
