Sol Friedman shares the five lessons he learned from cartoons. Friedman is is a Toronto-based animator and filmmaker whose animated short Bacon & God's Wrath screened at TIFF this year and received a Canadian Screen Awards nomination.

From Scooby Doo to South Park, Sol Friedman's favourite cartoons have taught him a lot about life. In this funny, insightful and sometimes irreverent segment for Exhibitionists, the Toronto-based animator and filmmaker relates five of those cartoons' lessons from which we can all benefit.

Friedman's most recent short film, Bacon & God's Wrath, follows an elderly Jewish woman as she tries bacon for the first time. It's screening as part of thedocumentary shorts program at the SundanceFilm Festival inPark City, Ut.fromJan. 21-31.

His previous work, Day 40, tells the story of Noah's Ark from the animals' perspectives as the water was rising. The film won a number of awards and screened internationally.

Bacon & God's Wrath is on the Toronto International Film Festival's list as one of Canada's Top Ten Short Cuts of 2015 and was also nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. Winners for the CSAs will be announced on March 16, 2016.
