Karim Rashid on what's wrong with Christmas

One of the world's most recognized and prolific industrial designers, Karim Rashid is the man behind Umbra's Ohchair and Garbinowaste can, the Bobble water bottle and over 3,000 other designs currently in production. Though he's known for his minimalist aestheticand the use of curves and bright colours in his work, it may come as a surprise to manythat Karim Rashid hates Christmas.

We caught up with Rashidwhile he was in Toronto for the annualDesignThinkers Conference, hosted by theAssociation of Registered Graphic Designers, and innocently asked about his thoughts on the holiday season.
