While grocery stores often encourage you to bring your own reusable bags, many people are still using plastic.

Two high school students in Clearwater, B.C., want plastic bags to become a thing of the past.

Katie Bieber and Reid Rebinsky are asking people in their town to take a pass on plastic bags,
and they just wrapped up a week-long push to ban plastic bags called "No thank you week."

While they were getting ready for the week, Daybreak's Josh Pag was there and spoke with them about their plan.
