Watch all the musical performances at the 2022 Legacy Awards

The inaugural Legacy Awards took place in Toronto on Sunday, Sept. 25. Canada's first all-Black awards, brought to us by the Black Academy and the event's co-founders Shamier Anderson and Stephan James, showcased emerging and established Black Canadian talent in film, television, music, sports and culture.

Some of the evening's honourees included Olympian Andre De Grasse, broadcaster Kayla Grey and actress and filmmaker Fabienne Colas, and there were also a number of incredible musical performances. Early in the evening, Anderson and James performed an original rap song where they exclaimed, "We got more than just the Weeknd, Kardinal and Drake!"

And the evening's performances proved just that, with artists including Deborah Cox, Fefe Dobson, Savannah Rand Keysha Fresh taking the stage. Watch all of them below.
