2nd player in ethnic outreach scandal back with Liberals

A second key player in the B.C. Liberals' ethnic outreach scandal is back the with party, CBC News has learned.

Former government communications director Brian Bonney is volunteering on the Liberal campaign in BurnabyLougheed.

Bonney, who was a key player in the partys plan to woo ethnic voters, resigned in February just before the NDP leaked the Liberals ethnic outreach plan.

The Liberals were forced to reimburse the government $70,000 after it was learned Bonney was spending as much as half of his taxpayer-funded time on work for the Liberal Party.

Earlier this week, the party confirmed Kim HaakstadLiberal Leader Christy Clarks former deputy chief of staff was volunteering on Clarks campaign in VancouverPoint Grey.

Haakstad stepped down in March after it was revealed she offered advice and input into the controversial leaked document that outlined the Liberals' plan to use governmentresources towooethnic voters in the upcoming provincial election.
