Big Little Lions bring its award-winning songwriting and catchy folk-pop sounds toCBC Musical Nooners on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.Theconcert begins at 12 p.m. PTand ends at 1 p.m.

CBC Musical Noonersarefree, live music concerts that happenevery weekday on theCBC Vancouver outdoor stage.

Big Little Lionsblissfully marry new folk and sophisticated pop. Helen Austin of Victoria B.C. and Paul Otten of Cincinnati Ohio joined forcesafter Paul produced Helen's JUNO award-winning album in 2013.

The two have won a number of prestigious awards including firstplace in the International Songwriting Competitionand a Canadian Folk Music Award for Ensemble of the Year.

The group'smusic has been describedas new folk,similartoMumford and Sons. Their songswill invitethe CBC Musical Nooners crowd to dance and sing along.

Their new album, Just Keep Moving, was released in May 2016.

The CBC Musical Noonersis a series of free, live music concerts every weekdayfrom noon to 1 p.m. at the CBC Vancouver Plaza on Hamilton Street (between West Georgia and Robson).
