CBC Musical Nooners July 13: Little India

Alternative rockers combine South African and Canadian heritage with Brit-pop influence this Monday on the CBC Vancouver Plaza.

On Monday, alternative rock band Little India takes to theCBC's Musical Noonersstage for a chargedperformance that's sure to get the audience moving.

Little India's musical chemistrycombinesSouth African flair withCanadian heritage, tinged withBritishpopfor anever-changingsound that keeps listeners on their toes.

Relatively new to the music scene, Little India formed in late 2012.

Since their first gig in January 2013,the four-person band hasshared the stagewith the likes ofAtlas Genius, The 1975, The Drumsand Jets Overhead.

They've already been booked toperformat this year'sSquamish Valley Music Festival.
