Child, 4, dies after fall from window of Langley home

A four-year-old child has died after falling from theupper-storeywindow of a home in Langley, say RCMP.

The incident occurredshortly after 3 p.m. in the city's Willoughbyneighbourhood.

The B.C. Ambulance Service says the child wastransported to hospital in critical condition.

The child died shortly after 4 p.m. PT, according to police.

Police say they are not treating the incidentas suspicious, but the serious crime section will continue to investigate.

Cpl. Holly Largy saysthe child was not home alone at the time.
