Drive-by shooting in Surrey

RCMP are looking for two cars involved in a drive-by shooting Saturday night, after reports that someone in a silver sedan was shooting at a small red car.

Surrey RCMPare looking for two cars involved in a drive-by shooting Saturday night.

Several people called 911a little after 7 p.m.,reporting somebody in a silver sedan firing shotsat a small red car on 128 Street at 60 Avenue, according to police.

RCMP investigators found shell casings on the road, but patrols turned up no trace of the two cars, which were last seen speeding northbound on 128 Street.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the shooting, or the cars leaving the area, to call Surrey RCMP at604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
