IHIT investigating homicide in Langley, B.C.

RCMP say they were called out to a report of suspicious circumstances on 72nd Avenue near Highway 1. When officers arrived, they found a man with "sustained injuries consistent with foul play."

Investigators say death is suspicious and appears to have been targeted

The Integrated Homicide Investigation team is looking into what they say is a homicide in Langley, B.C., on Sunday.

RCMP say they were called out to a report of suspicious circumstances on 72nd Avenue near Highway 1 shortly before 10:30 a.m. PT.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had"sustained injuries consistent with foul play."

First responders tried to save the man, but he died of his injuries.

IHIThastakenover the investigation. They say the homicide appears to have been targeted.

Investigators haven't yet determined the victim's identity.

The area has been closed for an undetermined amount of time.
