Ndidi Onukwulu is a B.C.-born, award-winning singer-songwriter. She plays CBC Musical Nooners Aug. 4, 2016.

Ndidi O brings her unique and award-winning voice to the CBC Musical Noonersstageon Thursday, Aug. 4.

The concert begins at 12 p.m. PTand ends at 1 p.m.

NdidiOnukwulu was raised inBritish Columbia but got her start as a musician in New York's open mic scene. Her blues, jazz, and soul songs have earned her two Junonominations and a Maple Blues Award.

Onukwulu has spent time developing her sound in Paris and Los Angeles. Hersongs continue to reflect adistinctly Canadian experience.
