Royals wrap up B.C. visit at CFB Esquimalt

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, will wrap up their four-day visit to the West Coast at the Esquimalt Canadian Forces base west of Victoria on Monday morning.

They will attend a celebration honouring the Canadian navy, which marks its 100th anniversary in 2010, and fly to Ottawa in the afternoon.

The western leg of their Canadian visit started on Friday with a soggy welcome at the B.C. legislature. They then spent a rainySaturday in Vancouver checking out the Olympic Village, some health care clinics, the VanDusen Botanical Garden and a sustainability conference hosted by Simon Fraser University.

On Sunday,the royal coupleattended a service at Victoria's Christ Church Anglican Cathedral before taking the rest of the day off from official functions.

The couple will arrive back in the national capital in time for a reception on Monday night and willtake part inRemembrance Day ceremonies Wednesday before flying back to Britain on Thursday.
