Vancouver police seek help IDing sex assault suspect

Vancouver police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a sexual assault on a female bus driver earlier this year.

Vancouver police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in asexual assault on a female bus driverearlier this year.

The assault was first publicized on Jan. 16 when the union representing Metro Vancouver bus drivers posted a $2,000-reward for information in the case.

The driver alleges she was groped by a male passenger on the #22 bus at around 7 p.m. PT on Jan. 1 as the bus travelled south on Clark Drive near Broadway.

On Wednesday morning, police released surveillance pictures of a male suspect.

The suspect is described as a well-dressed man in his early 20s with a moustache and possible goatee. He has short dark hair parted in the middle and a light brown complexion.
