Calgary police investigate shooting in Beltline parking lot

Calgary police are investigating a shooting in that happened in the parking lot of a Beltline convenience store on Saturday.

It's not yet known if anyone was hurt

Calgary police are investigating a shooting in that happened in the parking lot of a Beltline convenience store on Saturday.

Police said acall came in about a shooting in the 100 block of 11th Avenue S.W. at 3:15 p.m.

Two vehicles left the scene, police said, and officers are searching for a silver Dodge Dart with a window that had been smashed out.

It's not yet known if anyone was injured in the shooting.

The shooting happened roughly two months after a man was found in medical distress outside the same convenience store.

He died in hospital, and his death is being investigated as suspicious.
