Calgary police seek two suspects after shots fired in Douglasdale

Calgary police have taken three people into custody after shots were fired around midnight in the southeast community of Douglasdale.

Investigators still on scene at Douglasdale Ridge Close

Calgary police are investigating after shots were fired around midnight in the southeast community of Douglasdale.

Two people sustained minor injuries but were not struck by gunfire. One was treated at the scene, and the other takento hospital, has now been released.

Police say it was a targeted attack.

According to police, the two victims were in a vehicle outside a home in the 0-100 block of Douglas Ridge Circle S.E. when three men approached them. Shots were fired during an altercation, and the three suspects fled in a black truck.

Charges are pending against one man who was arrested following the assault. Investigators continue to search for the other two suspects. All three were masked and wearing dark clothing.
