Man in critical condition after being hit by CTrain in southwest Calgary, police say

A man is in critical condition after being struck by a CTrain early Sunday morning, Calgary police say.

The man was hit just after 1 a.m.at the Shaganappi Point station in southwest Calgary, police say.

He was rushed to hospital in critical condition, butno update on his condition is immediately available, police say.

Calgary Transit closed the station after the incident and temporarily operated shuttles in the area to replace service.

The Shaganappi Point station has since reopened.
