Highway 1A lanes reopen after single-vehicle rollover near Morley Road

Highway 1A near Morley Road has reopened after it was down to one lane following a single-vehicle rollover, in which a woman had to be extricated.

Highway 1A near Morley Road has reopened after it wasdown to one lane followinga single-vehicle rollover, in which awoman had to be extricated.

Two boys, ages 3 and 4,were in the back seat and all were taken tohospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

CochraneRCMP, fire and emergency services were called to the scene around 1 a.m. Thursdaywhere the vehicle was on its roof on the north side of the highway, about three kilometres west of Morley Road.

A Stoney Nakoda woman,believed to be the driver, wastrapped in the driver's seat and told emergency responders there were two childrenin the back seat.

Police continue to investigatethe cause of the crash.
