Jim Prentice vows changes for government planes if elected PC leader

Jim Prentice says if he is voted in as Alberta's next premier he will not use a government plane to fly between Calgary and Edmonton.

Jim Prentice says if he is voted in asAlberta's nextpremierhe will not use government planes to fly between Calgary and Edmonton.

The former federal cabinet minister made the comment this morning on the Calgary Eyeopener.

Prentice says he will have more to say on the use of the government fleet in the coming days.

Meanwhile, anotherleadership contender,Thomas Lukazuk, announced he plans to join the race.

The only other person to state their intention to run is Calgary MLA Ric McIver.
