Massage therapist Brad McLellan charged with sexually assaulting woman during massage

Brad McLellan is accused of sexual assaulting a 25-year-old woman at Centennial Wellness Clinic in downtown Calgary on Dec. 11.

Police say McLellan may have also worked with Hockey Canada and Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games

Calgary police have charged a registered massage therapist with sexual assault on a patient during a massage.

Brad McLellanis accused ofsexual assaultinga 25-year-old woman at Centennial Wellness Clinic in downtown Calgaryon Dec. 11.

Investigators said the woman went to a local police station after theassault to report it.

McLellanwas contracted by Centennial Wellnessand rented a space at the clinic at the time of the alleged assault, according to police, who saidthe the clinic was "very cooperative"throughout the investigation.

The clinic removed McLellan's bio from itswebsitebut his profile photo remained online Thursday after police announced the charges.

Investigators said McLellan may have worked professionally withHockey Canada andthe Vancouver 2010ParalympicGames in the past and may have also treated skeleton andbobsleighathletes.

His next court appearance is scheduled forFeb. 12.
