Police ask for help finding missing Calgary man

Police are asking for help from the public in locating a missing Calgary man who has been without his medication for several days.

Update: Zachary Woolverton was found dead on Oct. 7in the Didsbury area, Calgary police confirmed on Oct. 11.His death is not considered suspicious, police said.


Police are asking for help from the public in locating a missing Calgary man who has been without his medication for several days.

Zachary Woolverton, 25, was last seen around 8 a.m. on Friday in Woodbine in southwest Calgary, police say.

He is white, six feet three inches tall, weighs about 280 pounds and has hazel eyes, brown hair and a beard.

He was wearing a dark-brown cargo pants, grey high-top Vans sneakers, a plaid or camouflaged jacket and a dark T-shirt.

Wooverton might be driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.He could be in the Black Diamond or Water Valley areas, police say.
