Warrant issued for Siksika man in baby assault

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a man from Siksika First Nation charged with assaulting a baby in 2011.

Kinsey Gordon Jerry is alleged to have assaulted a four-month-old child

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a man from the Siksika First Nation, near Gleichen, Alta., after he failed to appear for a court date Thursday.

Kinsey Gordon Jerry, 27, is charged with aggravated assault for allegedly injuring a four-month-old child in Sept. 2011.

The child was sentby STARS air ambulance toAlberta Children's Hospital in Calgaryfor head trauma and has since recovered and beenreleased into the care of child services.

Jerry is described as aboutfive feeteight inches tall,171 pounds and of medium build. He is described asaboriginal with black hair and brown eyes.
