Young girl found dead in vehicle on rural road near Sundre

The remains of a young girl were discovered in a vehicle on a rural southern Alberta road near Sundre Tuesday afternoon.

An autopsy is being performed today in Calgary to determine the exact time and cause of death.

A woman has been taken into custody by RCMP in the suspicious death investigation.

"The RCMP anticipates it will be able torelease more information on this case upon the completion of the autopsy," saidSundre RCMP in arelease.
