A handful of people were dressed as dead composers to promote the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestras new campaign: The Rush Hour Concert Series.

Leilani Griffiths, who was dressed up as Mozart, says the CPO is banking on the popularity of zombies in television shows.

"All our artists are underground six feet under to be exact. And were trying to promote it, so that the younger audience kind of gets the appeal and understand its a lot of fun out there at the CPO."

Nick Adamson was approached by Griffiths and her zombie clan on Tuesday and says hes intrigued.

"No, actually I've never been to (a CPO show), but I've always wanted to check it out," Adamson says. " Looks pretty interesting actually."

Marie Pollock is a fan of CPO performances.

"It's a completely different feeling when you're actually sitting there and you're experiencing it live," she says. "You can physically feel it instead of just listening to it."

The special one hour Rush Hour takes place on Thursday at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. A full performance is scheduled for Saturday.
