For residents of Slave Lake, Alta., the mass evacuation of FortMcMurrayreminds them of the wildfire that devastated their community in 2011.

Five years ago this weekend, 100 km/hwinds pushed a wildfire into the town. Residents wereforced to leave and the fire ended uplevellinga third of the town.

Damages amounted to $700 million.

Slave Lake has rebuiltbut still bears some of the marks of the destruction that occurred.
