While the neighbourhood prepares to vote on whether to spend $35,000 fighting the proposed home, not everyone is opposed.

Residents in Terwillegar will be voting on whether to spend $35,000 fighting a proposed homeless residence slated to be built in their community.

The money would be collected from Terwillegar residents $100 annual homeowner fees.

An online survey posted on the Terwillegar Towne community website suggests the vast majority of residents oppose the housing project

However, as CBCs Scott Fralick found out, not everyone in the neighbourhood is against the controversial project.
