2 Hamilton men and 1 woman charged during COVID-19 protest at city hall

Bylaw officers and police laid charges against a 32-year-old woman, a 49-year-old man and a 52-year-old man.

Three Hamilton residents are facing charges after police say they were part of a group who protested COVID-19 restrictions in front of city hall.

On Sunday at noon, protestors gathered without masks.

Bylaw officers and police laid charges against a 32-year-old woman, a 49-year-old man and a 52-year-old man.

The 32-year-old was charged by policefor attending the protest.

The 49-year-old was charged by officers with trespassing.

The 52-year-old faces six charges (three from bylaw, three from police), including trespassing and obstructing a peace officer.
