Man on motorcycle killed after crash on Highway 403 in Burlington, police say

A man is dead following a collision on Highway 403 in Burlington, according to Ontario Provincial Police. Highway 403 is closed at Waterdown Road as a result.

The crash took place at about 9:40 a.m. on Monday

A man has died following a crashon Highway 403 in Burlington, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Police closed all eastbound laneson the403 east of Waterdown Road as they investigated on Monday morning. Theroadhas since reopened.

At around 9:40 a.m. ET on Monday, OPP said, officers were called to the scene of a collision between a motorcycle and anSUV between Waterdown Road and Queen Elizabeth Way.

Despite efforts byparamedics to save him, the motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while the SUV driver was not injured, according to OPP.
