77-year-old cyclist killed in collision with cement mixer truck: police

A77-year-old cyclist was killed, police say, aftera collision with a cement mixer truck.

The crash happened shortly before 9:30 a.m.Friday at the intersection ofKing Street and Queen Street.

The man succumbed to his injuries after colliding with the truck, according to police.

The intersection wasclosed for the majority of the day and officers asked people to avoid the area.

The driver of the cement mixer is cooperating with investigators, say police.
