Hermiz Ishaya is the youngest candidate running for mayor of Hamilton.

Mayoral candidate Hermiz Ishaya, 21, visited CBC Hamilton on Sept. 29. He says he's hearing a lot about construction and housing while campaigning and looks forward to launching discussions with residents and experts about what can be done to improve the city.

He'd like to encourage more young people to get involved in politics, and says he'd like to see the city make better use of solar power.
