Bride was taken to Hamilton General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators don't yet have any suspects, Thom said Saturday afternoon.

Now, they're trying to piece together what Bride was doingon Fridaynight before he died. Police say that the victim was with family members up until about10 p.m.in the east end, before taking a bus downtown.

"We're looking to fill in the time period between10 p.m.and when he was found by first responders," Thom said.

"Some form of altercation occurred at that location."

Thom says Bride was not previously known to police.

Investigators don't believe there is any danger to the general public, but Thom says they aren't yet sure exactly how many suspects they are looking for.

Investigators are also canvassing the area for surveillance video, but it hasn't revealed any leads just yet.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen something in the area at the time to contact them.

Bride is described as a white man, who at the time was wearing dark coloured shoes, dark pants, a blue shirt and a white baseball cap.
