Police investigating after car shot up on the Mountain

Hamilton police are investigating after they say two people shot at a parked vehicle while someone was sitting in it.

It happened near the corner of Kendale Court and Limeridge Road West just after 10 p.m. Monday, police say. Two people approached the victim while he was sitting in his parked car.

Several shots were fired at the vehicle, police say, and the two people ran to a waiting car.

The man wasn't hurt, but there are several bullet holes in the vehicle.Photos from the scene show a black Audiwith at least four bullet holes near the back tire on the driver's side.

Police say they still don't know if the shooting was targeted.

One suspect isa man who was about 5'9" tall and 130 pounds, and wore a hoodie and a bandana around his face, police say.

Police are also looking for a dark Mazda hatchback with tinted windows and dark hubcaps and rims.

Police say they want residents in the area to check their surveillance cameras for any suspicious activities and to contact police.
