Man accused of killing wife is awaiting trial in Kamloops

Five years ago, near Revelstoke,Laura Letts drowned in Upper Arrow Lake. It looked like an accident.

But now her husband, Peter Beckett, is locked up in theKamloops Regional Correctional Centre awaiting trial - for murder.

This is a story that begins years ago,in New Zealand of all places.

Tim Petruk has done a lot of legwork on this case.
