Dozens of bus routes to change across Waterloo region ahead of LRT launch

Grand River Transit is changing 25 bus routes to connect them to an LRT station, but there are other changes ahead including longer hours and a shift away from the Charles Street Terminal as a transit hub.

More frequent stops, longer hours and no more Charles Street Terminal as the transit hub There are lots of changesin store for the Grand River Transit network over the coming months.

John Cicuttin,the region's manager of transit development, joined CBC Kitchener-Waterloo's The Morning Edition on Tuesday to detail some of the big changes.

Those changes include moving buses to a grid network, improving transit infrastructure at Conestoga College and boosting connectivity in Cambridge.
