Eric Amaral, man charged in Kitchener arrow death, in court Tuesday

Eric Amaral, the man charged with first-degree murder in connection with thearrow shooting of Michael Gibbon in Kitchener, will appear in court Tuesday afternoon by video.

Gibbon, 60,was found sprawled on a front lawn of a home in Kitchener'sMount Hope-Breithaupt Park neighbourhoodwith an arrow sticking out of his chest on Oct 5.

Later that month, Amaral, 29, was charged in connection with the shooting of a Waterloo Regional Police officer during a traffic stop neardowntown Kitchener.

Five days later, police charged Amaral with first-degree murder in connection with the arrow shooting death of Michael Gibbon.
