Police look for potential witness in Cambridge shooting

Waterloo regional police are looking to speak to a potential witness of a fatal shooting ata Cambridge plaza on July 31.

Officers responded to acall around 7:40 p.m that nightin the area near Franklin Boulevard and Jamieson Parkway.

Police say the witnesstook a taxito the area of Weber Street E.in Kitchener andfled on foot. The individual is asked to call police.

Investigators believe two groups of menin two separate carswere involved in an altercation at the plaza.

Kyle Parthe, 20,was found with serious injuries at the scene. He was taken to hospitaland was later pronounced dead.

Police continue to search for two suspects that left the area in a blackBMW sedan.

One suspect is described to have a puffy face with no facial hair and black hair. The second suspect is a man between the ages of 25 and 30 and was wearing glasses.
