Four people have been charged and more than $5 million dollars worth of marijuana plants seized after a raid at a commercial property said city police.

Members of London police's guns and drugs section and OPP's cannabis enforcement team descended on 1490 North Routledge Park Monday, off Hyde Park Road in the city's northwest, said London police.

Investigators say they seized 5,332 marijuana plants at various stages of growth.

Police have charged a 34-year-old from London, a 57-year-old from Markham, a 53-year old from Scarborough and a 21-year-old from Toronto with "cultivate not in dwelling house."

They all have a court date in London in April.

Police said they carried out the search warrant with help of by-law officers from the city, fire and building inspectors, and the Ministry of Environment.
