2 men stabbed, teen girl injured in Selkirk: Manitoba RCMP

Two people were stabbed after a large argument in Selkirk, Man., on Saturday night.

Two people were stabbed and another injured in a large argument in Selkirk, Man., on Saturday. (CBC)

Two people were stabbed after a large argument broke out in Selkirk, Man., on Saturday night.

RCMP were called out to Jemima Street after receiving reports of a large group of people arguing around 10 p.m.

When officers arrived they found two men with stab wounds. One had severe injuries, RCMP said.

A 19-year-old from Selkirk and a 27-year-old from St. Laurent, Man. were taken to hospital.

A 16-year-old girl was also taken to hospital with injuries.

RCMP said all three are in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Selkirk RCMP at 204-482-1222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Selkirk is located about 25 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg.
