Annual concert honours Manitoba's missing and murdered women

Family and friends of Claudette Osborne gathered at The Forks Saturday for the 7th Annual "No Stone unturned" concert.

Family and friends of Claudette Osborne gathered at The Forks on Saturday for the 7th Annual "No Stone Unturned" concert.

Osbornewas 21 when she went missing in Winnipeg in July 2008.Osborne'sfamily and friendshaven't seen her since.

Osborne'ssister,BernadetteSmith, planned the concert series eightyears agoto show support for others in the community who have lost loved ones.

"This is really to connect our community with our families and help our families know they aren't walking this journey alone," said Bernadette Smith, Osborne's sister."This community supports them and they are their walking with them."

People took in anumber of live performances by local artists atOodenaCelebration Circle as part of the Winnipeg event.

A candlelight vigil is being held at 10:00 p.m.
