Azraya Kokopenace, 14, missing from Kenora, Ontario

A 14-year-old girl is missing from Kenora, Ontario Provincial Police say.

Azraya Kokopenacewas last seen leaving the Lake of the Woods District Hospital at 11:20 p.m. on Friday. According to police, she was seen going into a wooded area across from the hospital on Lakeview Drive.

Members of the Kenora OPP, the Northwest Region Emergency Response Teamand an OPP K9 unit are all searchingthe area.

Judi Kokopenace, arelative of Azraya's living in Kenora, said not knowing the 14-year-old's whereabouts is "painful."

"[There are] people talking about it on the streets," she said. "I told [the police]I would keep my ears open and my eyes open to find her to make sure she's safe.

"I want tohelp outbecauseshe's my relative....Hoping we can find her alive."

Kokopenaceis described as five feet five inches tall with a slim build; brown, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans.
