The manager of a Winnipeg car wash made a disturbing discovery Sunday morning when he found a bear carcass in the dumpster.

The discovery was made behind the True Blue Car Wash on Pembina Highway.

At first, Najem Al Mehrib, thought it was a human body. But after a closer look he could see itwas a black bear, with thepelt and feetstill intact.

Conservation officers, who picked up the bear's remains Sunday afternoon, told himit was a young bear shot during the spring hunting season.

Mehribdoesn't understand why someone would do that.

"It makes me sadwhy someone [would] kill the bear and do nothing with the animal?"
