Dump truck of guts spills load on Perimeter Highway

It was a stinkyafternoon rush hour for somedrivers in Winnipegon Wednesday,aftera dump truck hauling what appeared to be animal guts spilled its load shortly after 5 p.m.on the PerimeterHighway near St. Mary's Road.

CBCtraffic reporter Trevor Dineensaid there werefive piles of gutsand an overwhelming stench at the scene. Headvised drivers headed for the area to rollup their windows.

Crews were on the scene cleaning up the mess.

Drivers were warned to expecta 30-minute delay at the scene of the spill.
