Extended-hours clinic opens at Winnipeg's Grace Hospital

A new extended-hours primary care clinic has opened in Winnipeg.

The clinic, located at Access Winnipeg West at the Grace General Hospital, opened Wednesday.

It will operate from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays, and from1:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekends, the province said in a news release.

It will also be open for special hours on holidays.

Family doctors and nurses at the clinic will be able to treat common ailments and support treatment of chronic conditions, the province says.

Patients can also register online for appointments, and some walk-in spots will be available every day.
