A feast is coming to Winnipeg's Exchange District this Friday and it's going to be fast and furious.

For the fourth year, Winnipeg Harvest is partnering with area restaurants to offer guests an all-you-can-eat supper for $25.

The event is part of Give 30, a grassroots campaign that takes place during the month of Ramadan and gets Muslims and non-Muslimsto save the money they'd usually spend on a cup of coffee or lunch and donate it to Winnipeg Harvest.

"It's tons of fun," said Brett Zahari, co-owner of gourmet doughnut shop Bronuts.

Last year, over 600 people gathered for the eventand organizers are hoping for the same turnout this year.

Somali refugee Yahya Samatar is one of the event's organizers. He said the Fast and Furious Feast is a great way to give back to the community that's done so much for him.

"I feel like it's kind of my responsibility to give back to the community," he said.
