High-risk sex offender Apay Ogouk, 33, likely to live in Winnipeg

Apay Ogouk, 33, will be released from a federal prison in Alberta Monday and police believe he'll likely live in Winnipeg.

Ogouk to be released from Grand Cache Institution in Alberta, police say

A high-risk sex offender from an Alberta prison is set to be released and will likely live in Winnipeg, police say.

Apay Ogouk, 33, was expected to be set free Monday from Grand Cache Institution after completing a sentence for three counts of aggravated sexual assault.

Despite having participated in treatment behind bars, investigators believe Ogouk is likely to re-offend and are warning women of all ages that he is expected to live in Winnipeg.

Ogouk is under a lifetime weapons ban and has a criminal record for two previous aggravated sexual assaults.

Ogouk is six foot one and weighs 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, police said.
