Man arrested in Winnipeg homicide of Beatrice Ann Crane

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the November death of a Winnipeg woman, Beatrice Ann Crane.
Beatrice Ann Crane was found stabbed inside her West End apartment suite, in the 500 block of Victor Street, on the early morning of Nov. 21, 2014. She was rushed to hospital in critical condition, where she was later pronounced dead. (CBC)

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the November death of a Winnipeg woman, Beatrice Ann Crane.

Ronald Alvin Thomas was arrested Monday afternoon on manslaughter charges.

Crane, 44, was found stabbed inside her West End apartment suite, in the 500 block of Victor Street, onthe early morning of Nov.21, 2014.

She was rushed to hospital in critical condition, where she was later pronounced dead.

According to police, the couple wasinvolved in a domestic dispute, during which Thomas grabbed a weapon and stabbed Crane.
