Man stabbed outside nightclub

A Winnipeg man wasstabbed in an attack by a group of other men outside a popular Exchange District nightclub early Sunday.

The victim, 26, was assaulted and stabbed in the upper body by "a group of males" outside the Alive in the District nightclub on Bannatyne Avenue just before 2:30 a.m., police said.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition, but now islisted in stable condition. The victim was not identified and police said they're still figuring out what led to the stabbing.

Severalpeople were taken intocustody forquestioning, police said.
