Winnipeg police still seek leads in Marilyn Munroe homicide case

Seven months after 41-year-old Marilyn Rose Munroe was found dead in Winnipeg's North End, police are urging people to come forward if they haveinformation about her whereabouts in the three weeks before she was killed.

Police issued a public plea on Tuesday, asking anyone who may have been in contact with Munroe between Jan. 31 and Feb. 22 to call investigators at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers.

"Details such as her travels, appointmentsor any contacts made during this time period may be essential to advancing this investigation further," police said in a news release.

Munroe'sbody was found on Feb. 22 inside a house at 298PritchardAve. Police deemed her death a homicide but they have not said how she died.

Investigators had previously asked to hear from people who were in contact with Munroe in the days before and after she was last seen alive Feb. 12, when she was seen near Selkirk Avenue and Andrews Street.

No arrests have been made in her death.
